Dolly Parton turns 78 this year, and she’s never been a more active businesswoman. She’s everywhere, selling branded cakes with Conagra Brands Inc.’s Duncan Hines and releasing several recent books that include a 2022 thriller co-authored with James Patterson. This year looks to be even busier. Parton has a new licensing agreement with Lifetime Brands for kitchenware and plans for a Dolly television network.
