The bewitching Lewis and Harris in the Hebrides is an island of two parts. On the east coast it’s all gnarly moonscapes and lanes winding along secretive lochs; on the west coast it segues into soft white beaches and tropical-looking blue waters. The Distillery’s signature Hearach malt is the isle in a sunny mood: fresh and floral, with notes of vanilla, honeycomb and a fine, minty smoke. Very smart decanter-style bottle, too.
