Echoing Sellner’s highly contested concept of “remigration”, the Italian activists have drafted a law to establish an “Institute of Remigration” to promote mass deportations of illegal migrants, and allow naturalised Italians to be stripped of their citizenship and expelled if they commit crimes. Legal migrants would also be given financial incentives to return to their countries.
