Beyond his many editorial accomplishments, Adi has set a high standard for integrity, openness, and kindness. Those qualities, always leavened by his disarming wit, set the tone for HBR’s editorial operation. As I move into my new role, I will take my cues from Adi’s leadership style: We will approach new ideas with curiosity while making sure never to take ourselves too seriously.
