Renovated for Tobias Lammers, 45, who works in Apple’s marketing department, and Elliot Bates, 43, an in-house counsel at a bank, the Jealous House stands at the end of a row of four buff-colored, brick-clad houses that were built in 1996 from Swedish kits. Owain Williams, the London architect who renovated and named the house, was tipped off to the Nordic origins by the overhanging roof, which was designed to shelter passers-by from snow. This would not have been a priority in London, where the average annual snowfall is about an inch.
