Speaking in Oahu, Hawaii, following the Federal Reserve’s decision to hold interest rates steady on Wednesday, Bowman said she supported the decision to keep rates where they are, but also said she could have voted in favor of continuing to remove policy restraints to hedge more against the risk of further labor market deterioration.
