America’s population grew by 1.8 million, or 0.5%, between July 2024 and July 2025 to 341.8 million. That’s 1.5 million less than in the previous year, mainly owing to less immigration. On net, 1.3 million immigrated to the U.S. during those 12 months (down from 2.7 million in the prior year), which included the last six of the Biden Presidency.
